FREE Walking Tours

One hour. Local stories. No pressure.
Join our laid-back tour of Galway’s quirkiest streets and legends — it’s free to join, and you simply tip whatever you feel at the end.
Think stories, craic, and the good kind of awkward Irish humour.

Pour it. Sip it. Love it.

Stroll, laugh, and finish with a glass.
Each tour finishes in a local pub where you’ll get the chance to pour your own pint and enjoy a discounted drink, the perfect way to wrap up your walk through Galway.
It’s the perfect way to toast your time in Galway — and maybe “Split the G” while you’re at it.

Polaroid Photos

Old-school photos. New memories.
During your tour, we’ll snap a few Polaroids along the way. At the end, you’ll have the chance to take one home — a unique keepsake of your Galway adventure.
Limited prints. First come, first served.

Meeting Point

Who
Am I?

Graduation ceremony with student receiving diploma from faculty member, wearing academic regalia at NUI Galway.

Hey there! My name is Ultan and I’m a born-and-bred Westerner with a love for local stories, wit, and the kind of craic you only find in the West of Ireland.

Stroll To The Stout started with a simple idea — to take people on a walk through Galway that’s more fun than a history lecture. I mix folklore, real tales, and the odd yarn with a relaxed stroll around the City of Tribes.

It’s casual, it’s tip-based, and we wrap it up near a local pub where you can grab a discounted pint and keep the conversations going. I even bring along a Polaroid camera to snap memories along the way — a little something extra to remember the day by.

Whether you’re here for one day or falling in love with Galway forever, I’ll make sure you leave with a story or two worth telling.

Come stroll with me — the stout’s not far away. 🍻
