Do the tours run in the rain?
Yep. This is Ireland so if we stopped for rain, we’d never get anything done. Bring a jacket and we’ll keep going.

Can I join the tours on my own?
Absolutely. Loads of people join solo. By the end, everyone’s chatting anyway.

How big are the groups?
The Free Tour can get a bit bigger in summer with max 25.
The Premium is max 12 and Private tours is max 4 - these are small and cosy on purpose.

Is there much walking?
Not really. Galway is tiny. Everything is flat and easy.

Are kids allowed?
Yes. Even though the Free Tour the Premium are designed for adults feel free to bring the helpers!

Trad Crawl are designed for adults.

Booking & Payments

Is it cheaper to book direct?
Yep. OTAs add commission, so the lowest prices are always on our website.

Can I pay in cash?
For the Free Tour - yes (tips).
For Premium, Private, and Crawls - online booking only so we can lock in numbers.

Do you take card?
Yep, everything is done online and secure.

Can I book through Viator / GetYourGuide / Airbnb?
Yes - but it’ll cost a little more.
Same tour, same craic- just cheaper direct.

Cancellations & Changes

What if my plans change?
If you booked direct, we’re sound about it. Message us and we’ll help you out.

What if you cancel?
We rarely cancel. If we ever have to, you’ll get a full refund straight away.

Do I need to print anything?
Nope. A confirmation email on your phone is perfect.

Pints, Photos & Extras

Do I have to pour a pint?
No - it’s optional. But 99% of people give it a go. We also offer a Guinness 0!

Do I get a photo?
Yes - every tour includes a Polaroid keepsake.
They are included in the Premium and Private tours in addition to the extra merch you get.

Are the pubs busy?
We go to spots that look after us and fit the vibe - not the loud, messy ones.

Logistics & Practical Stuff

Where do the tours start?
You’ll get the exact meeting point in your confirmation email (The Spanish Arch).

Where do they finish?
Free Tour - close to Eyre Square, in a cosy pub for the final pint.

Do I need ID?
If you look young and you’re drinking alcohol, yes - bring it just in case.

Is Galway safe to walk around?
Very. It’s one of the friendliest cities in the world.

Groups, Events & Private Tours

Can I book for a hen/stag/corporate group?
Yes - the Private tour is made exactly for that.

Can you customise the Private Experience?
Of course. If you want a different time, different music, or a bit of craic for a special occasion - just ask.

Is the Premium tour suitable for couples?
It’s perfect for couples. It's intimate, slow, and full of little moments you’ll actually remember.
