What to expect
Galway doesn't do things by halves, and neither do we. Pour Your Own Story is a one-off Sunday experience that rolls the best of the city into one afternoon.
We start on foot with a 30-minute guided walk through the heart of Galway, the streets, the stories and the character that make this city what it is. Then it's into Monroe's, one of Galway's best-loved spots, for a private trad session played just for our group.
While the music plays for the group, you'll watch fresh oysters shucked in front of you and taste three at their briny best, a nod to Galway's oyster season. Then comes the moment that gives the day its name: you pour your own pint of Guinness the proper way, and learn what makes the perfect pour. On your way out, you'll take home a Polaroid to remember it by.
