Trad Crawl - Evening Night Out
Four pubs. Four live trad sessions. A pint you pour yourself, three complimentary shots along the way, and a Polaroid to take home. The Trad Crawl takes you through Galway's West End the way locals do it — pub to pub, tune to tune.
What to expect
Galway at night comes alive and this puts you right in the middle of it. We start with you pouring your own Guinness, Polaroid taken while it settles, and trad already playing in the background. Then we move through three more proper pubs, a shot waiting at each one, live trad at every stop and someone who actually knows the scene keeping things moving between them. No script, no headsets, no staged moments. We finish at Monroes and from there the night is yours.
Good pubs, good music and a proper Galway night out.

This is where the night starts. You learn to pour your own Guinness the proper way, a Polaroid is taken while it settles and you keep the photo. Trad is already on when you walk in. That is Galway from the first minute.
- 02Stop 2 — Darcy's Bar, Eyre Square
A short walk to Darcy's. Shot on arrival, fresh drink if you want one and the kind of pub where the conversation starts happening on its own.
- 03Stop 3 — Caroll's, West End
This one is all about the music. Shot on arrival, a trad session in full flow and a room that feels like nobody told it tourists exist. Just let it happen.
- 04Stop 4 — Finish at Monroes
We end the night at Monroes. Shot on arrival, trad session going and the rest of the night is yours. Stay as long as you like.
